I. causes of wear of agricultural machinery tires:

     1. If the tire pressure is too high or too low, its service life will be affected, and it is also unfavorable to safe driving. Low or overloaded tire internal pressure will greatly increase the stress and deformation borne by the carcass, aggravate the mechanical friction between the tire and the landing area and the internal friction of the carcass, and cause tire wear and damage. If the tire internal pressure is too high, it will increase the tensile stress borne by the tire cord, increase the shear stress between the tire layers, increase the rigidity of the tire body and reduce the landing area, resulting in the deterioration of tire performance and wear and damage. The scientific inflation standard should be: take the standard pressure of the tire as the benchmark, and change the tire pressure slightly with the change of temperature. For example, the temperature in summer should be 5% - 7% lower than that in winter. Considering the high temperature in summer, the gas is heated, the volume increases and the pressure is high, on the contrary, the standard air pressure must be reached or slightly lower in winter. For example, tractor tires, rear wheels: 13.6x38, front wheels: 9.5x20, summer tire pressure: 230kpa, 190kpa, winter tire pressure: 240kpa, 200KPa.

2. Sharp starting, braking and sharp turning during use will accelerate the wear of tires and cause chipping, block falling and bead damage.

     3. If the obstacle is too high and sharp, it is very easy to cause the tire to be damaged by cutting, bursting, pricking and so on.

4. Long time high-speed driving. According to the characteristics of the tire, with the acceleration of the vehicle speed, the deformation frequency of the tire increases, resulting in the increase of the tire temperature, causing wear and damage.

     5. The traction performance on soft soil is poor, especially in paddy field operation or driving on muddy road after rain, which is very easy to slip and wear tires.

     6. Improper toe in adjustment causes tread wear.

     7. In the process of tire disassembly and maintenance, if the tire is not assembled and disassembled carefully, the tire bead and rim are pried or smashed, or sand, stone and other sundries are mixed in the tire before installing the inner tube, resulting in tire damage.

     8. Improper parking and storage of tires, exposure to sunlight and oil erosion, causing tire corrosion and deterioration.

2、 How to prevent tire wear:

     1. During the use of the tire, the tire pressure shall be checked frequently and inflated according to the internal pressure marked on the sidewall.

     2. When starting, turning and braking, do not be too fierce. Try to avoid shifting and starting, releasing the clutch sharply, starting at high speed with heavy load and large throttle, turning dead turns and killing the steering wheel, as well as unnecessary sudden braking. Due to poor driving skills, many new drivers often make frequent emergency braking during driving due to lack of experience, often take emergency starting, high-speed steering and turning around, get stuck and the traction resistance is too high, the wheels slip for a long time, or rush through obstacles, and some will not choose the road surface and corresponding driving speed, which will also affect the service life of tires.

     3. Slow down when driving on uneven roads and working on stubble fields such as soybean and corn.

     4. The speed should be controlled according to the actual situation, and long-distance and high-speed transportation should be avoided as far as possible.

     5. In case of vehicle sinking in field operation, try to avoid high-speed idling of wheels in the pit.

     6. Properly maintain the steering system and maintain the correct toe in value to prevent early tire wear.

     7. The disassembly and assembly of tires should be carried out on a clean ground without tools with gaps and sharp corners; During installation, do not bring sediment in and do not install the pattern in the opposite direction.

     8. The tires shall not be contaminated with oleic acid, alkali, etc. to prevent corrosion.

     9. When not working for a long time, the roof should be lifted so that the tire does not bear pressure, but do not deflate. In addition, tires should be protected from the sun. For locomotives and other machines and tools parked for a long time, if the tire is not suspended, especially when the tire pressure is lower than the specified value, due to stable deformation, the outer tire carcass will be delaminated and broken in individual cases, thus greatly shortening the service life of the tire.

     10. Generally, after a certain period of use, the left and right tires should be interchanged to prolong the service life of the tire.
